Default Retirement Age to be Scrapped
The Government is planning to scrap the default retirement age in the UK from October 2011. Under the proposals employers would not be allowed to dismiss staff because they had reached the age of 65. The Government has launched the start of a consultation process about scrapping the rule.

HR GO Wins Recruitment Predictions Competition
HR GO plc is thrilled to be the winners of ‘Innovate CV’s recruitment predictions competition.

HR GO beat hundreds of entries from other recruitment agencies throughout the UK when they submitted their predictions for the ups and downs for the recruitment industry in 2011.

Chris Harvey, Managing Director of HR GO, was presented with the first prize, a marvellous magnum of champagne, by Daniella Winton, Innovate CV Sales and Marketing Director and David Head, Editor of Recruitment International magazine who supported the competition.
